Description

Vintage 1970s Italian Life Sized Ceramic Hand-painted Silver White POODLE. The poodle is about 18 inches high, 10 inches from the back tail to the front, and 6 1/2 inches wide. It is in gorgeous condition with no cracks or chips. There might be a bit of crazing from age (see close-up photos of back), but to be honest this may have been the way it has always been. The color is "silver" - more like whitish with gray (photos are taken with lights on and off). This poodle was purchased in a shop while I was on a trip with my parents to Italy around the Milan area. This was in 1975. When the poodle was made I'm not sure, but that's when we acquired it. The poodle sat looking out the window for many years, honoring my two real silver miniature poodles. Now, as you can see I have a small terrier and a big mutt. My husband won't let me get a poodle again, so it is now time, with heavy heart, to say Arrivederci to the poodle. Will only sell to a GOOD HOME! Live dogs not included.
